The Chrysalis Project was born out of an idea while celebrating ordinary women. I felt it was necessary to create a space where young women can see what their futures can look like. Our founding principle is to develop strong communities of young women who are Leaders, Motivators and Innovators. We are committed to providing resources to young women to pay it forward for generations to come.

Ms. Walcott worked for many years with young people first with summer youth programs in Brooklyn. An avid tennis player, she taught tennis to young women through the Division of Recreation in Plainfield, NJ. She was also the event planner and recording secretary for the Plainfield Tennis Council.
