The Chrysalis Project, Inc. partnered with Pat Field, President of The New Outlook Pioneers & Joylette Mills - Ransome , Council Woman of Plainfield New Jersey to feed frontline workers in our community. We Partnered with Mr. Subs of South Plainfield New Jersey to supply lunch on May 11, 2020 to Medemerge of Greenbrook, NJ and Muhlenberg Emergency Facility in Plainfield.

Choose one Word that will encourage and inspire to make good lifestyle choices in every aspect of life.

The goal is to live the Word for one year to transform oneself, to own one’s future and live with purpose and focus.

Make a framed inscription of the Word and position so to see the Word daily.

African Dance Workshop

On Feb 22, 2020 the Chrysalis Project sponsored an African Dance workshop facilitated by Audrey Davis Dunning. The workshop was held at Shiloh Baptist Church in Plainfield NJ in honor of Black History Month. Eleven high school girls were in attendance. The program served as an introduction to the dance, culture and rhythms of West Africa and was accompanied by live drumming.  Prizes were awarded for trivia questions answered and each participant received an African dance skirt called a “lapa” as a memento.
